Does Koalaris work for test and tag in New Zealand?
Yes. AS/NZS 3760 is a joint Australian and New Zealand standard, so the records Koalaris keeps are the same on both sides of the Tasman: each item, its test results, who tested it, when, and when it is next due.
What currency are the prices in?
Plans are priced in Australian dollars and billed by card through Stripe. Your bank converts the amount to NZ dollars. No GST is charged on Koalaris subscriptions.
Can I invoice my New Zealand clients with GST?
Not yet. Invoices in Koalaris are currently set up for Australian GST at 10%. New Zealand GST at 15% is planned. Until then, keep invoicing from your usual accounting software and use Koalaris for testing, the register, tags, certificates and the client portal.
Can my clients pay by card through Koalaris?
Not yet for New Zealand businesses. Card payments by QR code currently need an Australian Stripe account.
