Koalaris was born from a simple frustration: the technical work was never the hard part. Managing everything around it was.
Our story
I spent seven years across equipment maintenance, electrical safety testing and medical equipment servicing. I knew how to test equipment, troubleshoot faults, complete repairs and tell a client what needed to happen next.
What took time was everything surrounding the job.
Keeping equipment registers accurate. Tracking re-test dates. Recording results. Finding certificates. Preparing reports. Sending invoices. Answering clients when they asked, “Are we compliant?”
Even when I recorded everything properly, items slipped through and due dates crept up on me. The tools available to me could store the information, but they didn’t connect everything together.
So I built Koalaris.
Koalaris brings equipment records, testing, servicing, certificates, invoicing and client access into one platform, giving technicians the tools to manage their work in the field and giving clients a clear view of their equipment and compliance status.
I use AI only where it genuinely helps. Lyra AI handles repetitive tasks such as reading equipment rating plates and helping draft reports, but it never decides whether equipment passes or fails. That decision stays with the qualified person doing the work.

I hold a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from QUT, a Queensland Restricted Electrical Licence endorsed for medical equipment, and a Test & Tag qualification.
Koalaris is built from real-world experience, with a focus on making technical businesses simpler to run without getting in the way of the people doing the work.
I’m still the person behind the product, and I’m still the person who answers when you get in touch.
